इतर : Social Media Detox

Many people think that going off-social media surely has something to do with a person going through a bad phase! Naah; not at all ! I enjoyed social media detox for 15 days! Here are my reasons to take a break!

🌸 To take the time off from the outer world to look into the inner world (Started practicing meditation under the guidance of my dear friend Jāī Parāṁjape ) 🌸 To practice non-attachment and non-habitualization of materialistic things (baby steps!) 🌸 To control the social media addiction and to think, is it so necessary to display each and everything on social media ? 🌸 To check whether the FOMO can take a toll of my mental well-being (& thankfully it didn't !! yaay!) 🌸 To put the wandering mind on rest who keeps on absorbing the information but doesn't invest the time in processing 🌸 To enjoy my own company (which I anyway do, but this time, I did something new! On one of the nights, put all the lights off, switched on the bottles with shimmering lights and danced on some Ed Sheeran songs!) . Try it if you haven't already!
